The net profit of Azerbaijani BTB Bank amounted to 546,000 manat ($321.3) following the results of 2021 compared to a loss of 9.153 million manat ($5.3 million) in 2020, Trend reports citing the bank's financial report.
During this period, BTB Bank's gain was formed at the expense of interest income in the amount of 25.647 million manat ($15 million), which is 1.74 percent less compared to 2020, and at the cost of non-interest income by 5.832 million manat ($3.4 million), which is 15.7 percent more than in 2020.
According to the report, the bank's interest expenses in 2021 increased by 9.5 percent, up to 15.517 million manat ($9.1 million), and non-interest expenses – by 5.2 percent, up to 15.826 million manat ($9.3 million).
BTB Bank's profit before taxes and unforeseen expenses related to banking activities totaled 546,000 manat ($321.3) in 2021.
