BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 27. The fees of ten Azerbaijani leading insurance companies (ICs) totaled 394.4 million manat ($232.16 million), or 92.45 percent of the overall insurance fees in the first five months of 2022, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
During the reporting period, PASHA Life topped the ranking in terms of premiums with 42.1 percent. The company's fees for this period reached 179.6 million manat ($105.7 million).
PASHA Insurance ranked second with a total premium of 109.3 million manat, or $64.3 million (25.63 percent of all fees), while Qala Insurance took third place with 23.5 million manat, or $13.8 million (5.51 percent).
The total fees of all insurance companies of the country from January through May 2022 amounted to 426.6 million manat ($251.09 million).
