ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 9. Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank has become the leading bank in Turkmenistan in terms of the number of issued cards, Trend reports.
Data from the central bank of Turkmenistan shows that as of the beginning of January 2024, the number of cards issued by Dayhanbank had surpassed 1.96 million.
Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank came in second, accounting for over 1.08 million cards, while Halkbank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank was third with 660,337 cards.
Dayhanbank mainly works with clients in the regions of the country. Thus, most of the cards issued by the bank were issued to customers in the Mary (585,686), Dashoguz (486,039), and Lebap (434,206) regions.
