( Laptop ) - Rumors began speculating Amazon would release it's own branded electronic book reader. Well they were right.
Online merchant giant Amazon.com today unveiled their Kindle: electronic-paper display that looks & reads like real paper, according to the company. The device features EV-DO wireless (same cellular wireless) so you can connect to the Kindle Store from virtually anywhere to download & buy e-books. MOre than 88,000 books including 100 of the 112 New York Times best sellers will be available.
Plus top newspapers such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post will be avialable. Magazines: TIME, Forbes and Atlantic Monthly - all delivered wirelessly to the Kindle wireless device.
Amazon claims the Kindle is lighter and slimmer than a typical book. No monthly wireless bills to worry about either.
