Azerbaijani ministry organizes distance education programs for kids

The Azerbaijani Education Ministry has organized distance education programs for children who require special care, the ministry reported.

The programs are expected to be implemented under the "E-Learning Systems" project, which will be realized under a state educational informatization program in Azerbaijan in 2008-2012.

The project targets seventh grade students with special needs in the Sabail district.

Teachers will use distance education programs for children who need special care who have mastered specialized ICT skills through training courses organized by the Madad company.

The project also will provide computer equipment to all students participating in the project as a component of the "One Computer Per Child" program.
