The work on the localization of the office suite Microsoft Office 2010 will be completed in March 2011, Microsoft Azerbaijan company manager on "Partnership in Education " Program Emin Akhundov said.
Akhundov said the company has completed work on the localization of the Microsoft Windows operating system in the Azerbaijani language.
The localized version of the product was demonstrated for the first time in the 16th International Exhibition on Telecommunications and Information Technology BakuTel-2010 held on Nov.23-2
A foreign company deals with work on the localization of the operating system.
At present, products of Microsoft, localized in the Azerbaijani language, are the operating systems Windows XP and Windows Vista, as well as office packages Microsoft Office 2003 or Microsoft Office 2007.
The first localization of software Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 was made by AZEL. The work to translate products of Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 into the Azerbaijani language was conducted by Sinam.
Localization of systems envisaged the development of MUI-files in the Azerbaijani language.
As to the Microsoft Windows 7 product, it greatly coincides with previous versions. But the current base is expanded and contains a large number of new terms.
