Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, Feb. 7 / Trend H. Hasanov /
Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdymuhammedov ordered to transfer mobile communication services to private companies, local media reported.
"Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper said that the president ordered to create at least three independent companies.
He said that it should be done for mobile companies to have competition.
The national TV channel Altyn Asyr reported that these companies should create communications companies together with world famous companies and adjust work at the appropriate level. The share of domestic companies in these joint ventures must exceed 50 percent.
"At first, the state must help them by providing preferential loans," he said.
He said that all the newly created companies must get the national title, for example Galkynysh (Revival).
