Azerbaijani Neuron Technologies IT company has started to implement Unibook education management system in the Belarusian Academy of Post-Graduate Education, Ismayil Alakbarov, the company's head, told Trend.

The contract for the project implementation was signed with the management of the university as part of the TIBO-2017 exhibition held in Minsk April 18-21.

“Neuron Technologies provides the academy with a platform,” he said. “It will be possible to automate the process of improving the qualification of teachers through the platform.”

"The academy has big educational content that can be commercialized through the Unibook solution, but this is in perspective," he said. “Meanwhile, the project is being implemented. We would like the academy to use our solution, which means our export to Belarus. At the same time, it will allow us to export our solution to the international market. At the initial stage, we can talk about entering the market of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)."

The Academy of Post-Graduate Education is one of the most advanced educational institutions in the post-Soviet area in its field. Around 7,000 teachers are trained in the academy annually.

Earlier, Alakbarov said that according to the agreement, Neuron Technologies will provide the Academy with a technological platform, while the academy will create content. It will be possible to conduct training and render online education services in the countries of the CIS, Central Asia and the Middle East in the future.

He added that this will become a commercial component of joint activity.

The platform will support a variety of languages. The company also intends to cooperate with other educational institutions of Belarus.
