IPChain Association to use blockchain for intellectual property infrastructure of Tashkent

Russia's IPChain Association will develop the intellectual property infrastructure of Tashkent, using the blockchain technology, Uzbek media reported referring to the results of the Open Innovations 2018 forum in Moscow, where representatives of the Tashkent administration and the Russian company signed a memorandum of cooperation.

According to the document, signed by President of the IPChain Association Andrey Krichevsky and head of the innovation department of the Tashkent administration Jasur Zakhidov, the parties agreed to cooperate in the development of the intellectual property during transition to the digital economy within the city infrastructure of Tashkent.

IPChain Association (National Coordination Center for Processing Transactions with Rights and Objects of Intellectual Property) is a non-profit corporate organization established by the initiative of the Skolkovo Foundation and the All-Russian Intellectual Property Organization.

The association is developing standards and technologies based on the blockchain for interaction of owners of intellectual property.
