Uzbekistan and Chine discussed action plans for prospective cooperation on the development of the e-government system, Trend reports referring to Dunyo information agency.
On October 23, an online conversation was held between the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Shukhrat Sadikov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Uzbekistan Jiang Yan.
Minister of ICT noted that China is one of the key and strategic partners for Uzbekistan. The countries have accumulated significant experience of interaction in various sectors of the economy, including in the IT sphere.
The ambassador also appreciated the fruitful partnership between the countries and the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, including in the field of information and communication technologies.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and action plans for promising cooperation on the development of the e-government system, information technology centers, technology parks and innovation centers, IT education and the introduction of the latest technologies.
The parties noted the great potential for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the field of information technology and expressed their readiness to mobilize all efforts in this direction.
