A joint meeting of the commission on satellite communications, the Television and Radio Broadcasting is currently in Baku with the participation of representatives from Organization for Regional Cooperation in Communications (ORCC) member countries, Trend reports.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies said that organized by the International Union of Telecommunications (ITU) under the regional conference on radio communications to be held in 2006 and the World Conference on Radio Communications, to be held in 2007 the event brings together representatives from Azerbaijan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Moldova.
The Ministry developed a special action plan and established an organization committee under the leadership of Aflatun Mammadov, the head of the Telecommunications and information
technologies.
The event is centered on the implementation of work stipulated in the initial plan, the results of the 4th session of the coordinating group on the implementation of planned digital translation in CIS countries.
The session is to complete on 10 September.
