MS RemTex defense enterprise of the State Committee of Uzbekistan for the Defense Industry plans to resume the assembly of Ural vehicles, Trend reports with reference to the press service of State Committee of Uzbekistan for Defense Industry.
"The implementation of the project will ensure further diversification of the production of military and dual-use trucks in Uzbekistan and the creation of a healthy competitive environment," the statement said.
According to the State Committee of Uzbekistan for defense industry design features of the Ural chassis allow usage for a wide range of purposes, and the reliable transmission allows the car to successfully overcome almost any road obstacles.
The State Committee of Uzbekistan for the Defense Industry was established in 2017. According to the decree of the President of Uzbeksitan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the department is engaged in the formation of defense orders and the organization of production of defense products.
Ural military vehicles are currently used in the armed forces of more than 40 countries around the world, including the army of Uzbekistan, with about 400 different superstructures installed on its chassis.
