BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 24

By Klavdiya Romakayeva - Trend:

Asaka UzAuto Motors plant will be suspended starting from January 2021 in order to modernize production in connection with the introduction of new Chevrolet standards, Trend reports referring to the press service of UzAuto Motors.

After effective work with partners from General Motors (GM), UzAuto Motors officially received a certificate of quality standards BIQ4 (build in quality) and is aimed at obtaining the highest level of quality in the GM BIQ NEXT system in the coming years.

The company noted that the increase in quality standards will affect all Chevrolet models without exception, for which the Asaka plant is scheduled to be suspended to carry out all the necessary modernization in production.

At the same time, the Chevrolet dealer network in all regions of Uzbekistan will switch to new standards.

According to the information, the changes will concern the re-registration of dealerships in accordance with the new Chevrolet brand book, which is a prerequisite for the continuation of work. Dealerships that do not meet the new standards will be terminated dealer contracts.

In addition, the quality of services will be increased in the dealer network, higher standards of warranty service will be introduced, the level of which will grow due to better training of personnel, the introduction of loyalty programs, a survey of customer opinions, and much more.

The company also implements SАP (System Analysis and Program Development) software, the functionality of which will allow organizing processes in sales, service, and marketing more efficiently.
