ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 19. Turkmenistan has purchased a large batch of buses for the Balkan region located in the west of the country, Trend reports.
According to an official source, the transfer of buses to the regional municipality in the amount of 200 units took place as part of a working trip to the Balkan region by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The new buses, known for their added comfort, will cater to both passengers and guests of the region, as well as fulfill transportation requests from various institutions.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is really stepping up its game when it comes to its passenger transportation system, which is going all out by investing in the development of a top-notch transport infrastructure and splurging on new vehicles.
Recently, Mary, Ahal, Dashoguz regions, and the city of Turkmenabat in Turkmenistan also received from the state about 200 new Japanese-made passenger buses each.
