Italy expects Kazakh president's visit

Today in New York as part of the 64th session of the UN General Assembly, the Secretary of State, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev met with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahom, Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesman Ilyas Omarov told Trend .
"During the meeting, Berlusconi said that "he looking forward to the visit of his friend, President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Rome, scheduled for this year. According to him, this visit will give a serious impetus to the further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries," said Omarov.
According to him, the meeting with President of Tajikistan focused on the development of Kazakh-Tajik economic and trade cooperation and strengthening regional security. Conveying his best wishes to President Nazarbayev, Rahmon noted that he would welcome the visit of President of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan.
