Kazakhstan will propose establishing a special anti-crisis staff of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization at the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Organization.

Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov made this statement at today's meeting of the Senate [higher chamber of Kazakh Parliament], Kazakh Prime Minister's press service reported.

"I will make a proposal on behalf of the Kazakh President to create a commission at the level of Economy Ministries - an anti-crisis staff," Masimov said.

The next meeting of the Council of Government Heads of the SCO will take place on Nov. 7 in St. Petersburg.

The meeting will focus on the situation in the global economy and in the SCO area, the further deepening of cooperation and intensive interaction between the SCO member states in economic and humanitarian spheres.

The heads of government of SCO's member states will adopt a joint declaration on the economic situation in the world and in the SCO, and will sign several documents as a result of the meeting.
