BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 28. Kazakhstan has ratified the border regime agreement with Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.
According to the information, the relevant law on ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan on the regime of the Kazakh-Turkmen state border was signed by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The document includes crossing the border by people and vehicles, moving cargo or other property through it, flying over the Kazakh-Turkmen state border and border strips, as well as conducting economic, fishing, research, exploration or other activities.
Meanwhile, this agreement was signed in 2021 and regulates relations between the two countries in several areas.
