BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 11. Diesel prices in Kyrgyzstan have seen a reduction due to changes in the Russian market, Kanat Eshatov, the head of the Oil Traders Association of Kyrgyzstan, said, according to Trend reports.

Eshatov noted that the price of diesel fuel began to fall last week, falling by three soms ($0.034). He also mentioned that this week there was a comparable three-sigma decline. Eshatov noted that given the stability of diesel pricing at Russian refineries, they are anticipated to stay the same in the near future.

Eshatov added that Kyrgyzstan's gas outlets have seen an increase in gas prices every month since May 2023.

He claimed that by this time, gasoline prices would rise by about 21 cents ($0.24). According to him, businesses have been able to keep this under control and have kept price growth to a maximum of seven to eight soms ($0.08-0.0091).

Meanwhile, numerous fuel station networks in Kyrgyzstan's capital, Bishkek, have recently lowered diesel fuel prices.

The lowest price, as of August 10, was recorded at "Bishkek Petroleum" fuel stations, where diesel is priced at around 63.6 soms per liter ($0.723). On the other hand, the highest diesel fuel price in the city is observed at the "Rosneft" fuel station chain, reaching approximately 69.9 soms ($0.795) per liter.
