BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 8. Tallymerjen livestock farm, located in the Lebap district of Turkmenistan, has fulfilled a plan to obtain offspring of small cattle, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.

Since the beginning of 2022, the livestock farm has received an offspring of more than 12,600 lambs. This is 1,100 more than the breeders expected.

Thus, the plan for obtaining offspring is fulfilled by 105 percent.

Furthermore, the livestock farm contains 38,800 sheep, of which 11,500 give progeny.

Agriculture is an important part of Turkmenistan's economy. Work is being carried out to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, produce meat and dairy products, strengthen the feed base of the industry, and the improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
