BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. From January through March 2022, the growth of natural and associated gas production in Turkmenistan amounted to 102.5 percent, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Shakhym Abdrakhmanov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
According to him, in Turkmenistan during the specified period, the growth of natural gas exports amounted to 103.4 percent compared to January - March 2021.
Abdrakhmanov said that in the first quarter of 2022, the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Turkmenistan amounted to 107.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
Furthermore, Turkmenistan's gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered fields.
