BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. In the Lebap region of Turkmenistan, stockbreeders have implemented a plan to obtain offspring of small cattle, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
Livestock farms - Serdar, Tallymergen and Koytendag received more than 69,200 offspring lambs. The reason for the good offspring was that during the cold season the animals were transferred to stable maintenance and provision with a variety of feeds.
At the moment, there are 210,700 heads of small cattle in the Lebap region.
Agriculture is an important part of Turkmenistan's economy. Work is being carried out to develop animal husbandry, increase the number of livestock, manufacture meat and dairy products, strengthen the feed base of the industry, and the improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
