BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 28. Turkmenistan and Vietnam intend to create a joint business council to strengthen mutually beneficial ties, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan website.

This issue was discussed at the meeting of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hadjiev and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Vu, held in the building of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry.

The meeting was organized within the framework of the visit of the Turkmen delegation to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, scientific, educational, and urban planning spheres.

The sides noted their commitment to the development of constructive mutually beneficial relations between the two countries, as well as the important role of interstate visits.

At the same time, interest was expressed in activating mutually beneficial ties between the business circles of the two countries. In this regard, a proposal was made to exchange trade and economic delegations in order to familiarize and study the prospects for the development of relations, as well as initiate the activities of the Turkmen-Vietnamese Business Council.
