BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 3. Turkmenistan has acquired new mobile drilling rigs of Chinese production of the XJ 450 and XJ 650 series, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, these drilling rigs have already been tested at the Barsagelmes and Goturdepe fields located in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan.
The machinery, which takes no more than 20 days to work with, are planned to be used for drilling new wells and overhauling old ones.
Furthermore, the mobile drilling rigs are equipped with the necessary equipment to ensure autonomous operation. For employees, there are rooms for recreation in which up to 10 people can live.
Meanwhile, recently Turkmennebit State Concern was drilling an operational oil and gas well No. 148 with a design depth of 2,060 meters at the Guijik field located in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan.
