ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 21. The repair plant in Turkmenabat city in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan has almost fulfilled the annual production plan from January through August 2023, Trend reports.
During the specified period, the plant performed works in the amount of 1.74 million Turkmen manats ($496,633), almost fulfilling the annual production plan.
The annual production plan provides for the execution of works in the amount of 1.87 million Turkmen manats ($533,738).
Furthermore, in 2022, the plant completed work in the amount of 3.5 million Turkmen manats ($1 million), exceeding the plan by 88.5 percent.
At the same time, the plant is involved in both producing and fixing spare parts for agricultural machinery.
As Turkmenistan witnesses swift expansion in the development of industrial and social infrastructure, the sector is emerging as a pivotal component of the economy. It assumes a critical role in implementing import substitution strategies and bolstering the nation's export capacities.
