The assets of the Uzbek Asaka State Joint Stock Commercial Bank increased by 41.1 percent and reached up to 10.449 trillion Uzbek soums ($1=3265.54 soums) in 2016, the bank said.
Asaka bank is the second largest bank in Uzbekistan regarding the amount of main banking indexes.
The amount of credit investments amounted to 5.319 trillion soums in 2016 compared to 3.423 trillion soums in 2015 (55.4 percent growth).
In the loan portfolio structure, long-term loans reach 5.034 trillion soums (94.6 percent), including loans for investment projects - 4.393 trillion soums (82.6 percent).
The balance on deposit accounts of the population increased by 36 percent - up to 814.9 billion soums.
The bank’s total capital increased by 11.8 percent – up to 1.024 trillion soums for the year.
Asaka bank was established in 1996. The bank is mainly involved in lending to the automotive industry.
