The State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan approved the procedure for collecting customs fees for customs clearance of goods and vehicles outside designated places and the established working hours of customs authorities, Trend reports referring to Norma information and legal portal.

According to the procedure, the interested person can apply in writing or the electronic form to the customs authority, in the area of activity of which customs clearance will be carried out, with a request to carry out customs clearance of goods outside the designated places.

It is reported that customs duties for customs inspection and examination of goods under customs control for transshipment operations will be collected by issuing a work order, while for customs clearance of goods - by entering the relevant information into the cargo customs declaration.

A work order is an electronic document issued by customs authorities when collecting customs payments for customs clearance of goods and vehicles outside the established places and (or) outside the working hours of the customs authorities.

It is noted that the outside hours are considered to be from 18:00 to 9:00, weekends and holidays. The countdown for customs clearance of goods outside the place of implementation starts from the beginning of customs clearance and ends with the signing of the order.

If less than one hour is spent on customs clearance outside the designated places and the established working hours of the customs authorities, then customs duties are levied as for a full hour of work of one customs officer.

In addition, if the application of the person concerned contains a request for the allocation of several employees for customs inspection, transshipment operations, the customs duty shall be paid for each employee assigned by the customs post.

Also, according to the procedure, the work order is issued electronically in the Unified Automated Information System of the Customs Authorities and consists of two parts - a work order and an invoice.

The work order is filled in by the customs authorities in the information system on the basis of the information specified in the application of the interested person to the customs authority. It also includes information on customs fees paid for customs clearance.
