Volume of gold and foreign exchange reserves in Uzbekistan increased by $797 million as of November 1, 2021 compared to the previous month, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek Central Bank.
This figure reached to $35.2 billion for the specified period.
Most of the reserves are stored in the form of gold, which is amounted to $21.6 billion as of November 1, 2021.
This figure accounted for $21.34 billion as of October 1, 2021.
A slight drop in the volume of physical gold in reserves from 12.1 to 12.3 million troy ounces for corresponding period was recorded.
At the same time, foreign exchange reserves increased by $466 million.
