The National Bank of Uzbekistan became the leader in terms of the volume of deposits for the period of January through October 2021, Trend reports via the Uzbek Central Bank.
The volume of deposits of the National Bank amounted to 19.2 trillion soums ($1.7 billion), having increased by 18.5 percent over the year. For comparison, from January through October 2020 this indicator amounted to 16.2 trillion soums ($1.5 billion).
From January through October 2021, the total volume of state-owned banks deposits of Uzbekistan amounted to 93.3 trillion soums ($8.6 billion)
