By Government resolution, amendments and additions were made to the Government resolution "On approval of regulatory legal acts on the procedure for leasing agricultural land," Trend reports citing Uzdaily.
According to the document, the regional khokimiyats, together with the Ministry of Agriculture, will hold an open competition for land plots where the winner has not been determined, with a change in their area, specialization, as well as in other popular areas.
In order to consider the proposals of citizens on the choice of a land plot, a study of this land plot will be carried out within 3 working days.
Previously, this period was 5 working days.
Also, the period for coordinating with the competent authorities the issue of choosing a land plot intended for the competition has been reduced from 5 to 3 days.
Applicants wishing to receive the land submitted for the competition will be exempt from paying a deposit of 1 BRF (270,000 soums) if they are labor migrants who arrived from abroad after 1 March 2022. Previously, this benefit extended only to those who are included in social notebooks.
