BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 24. GDP growth of Uzbekistan in 2023-2024 will remain stable, the Renaissance Capital investment bank told Trend.
Renaissance Capital forecasts Uzbekistan's GDP growth during the next two years will remain close to 2022 levels.
According to the bank’s outlook, GDP growth in Uzbekistan rated at the level of 5-6 percent in 2022.
The decline in gold and gas exports was offset by rising energy prices. In addition to that, the slowdown in the growth of private and government consumption and investment growth led to a slowdown in GDP growth to 5.5 percent YoY, according to our estimates (after 7.4 percent in 2021), the bank said.
