TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 31. On the roof of the buildings of the 'Karshitermoplast' workshop, belonging to the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, work has begun on the installation of a solar power plant with a capacity of 600 kW, Trend reports.

According to the official source, electrical installation works are currently being carried out at the facilities of the 'Erkatoy 1, 2, 3, 4 preschool educational institutions belonging to the complex, on which solar panels with a total capacity of 40 kW are installed.

Furthermore, according to the action plan, by the end of the year it is planned to install solar photovoltaic stations with a capacity of 1,100 kW for a parking lot located around the complex, 230 kW for a work camp, 50 kW for a drainage facility at the outdoor water supply shop, 2 kW for column pumping stations A and B, and 20 kW for the Medservice wellness center.

Meanwhile, the introduction of solar energy in Uzbekistan contributes to achieving sustainable development goals by reducing environmental pollution and reducing dependence on fossil fuels. This project not only promotes the ecological purity of energy but also creates new jobs, stimulating innovative development in the country.
