A project which envisages publication of different textbooks for schoolgirls and boys of the first classes has been prepared, ISNA News Agency reported quoted Iranian Education Minister Hamid-Reza Hajibabaie as saying.
A national project on "Changes in the Education System" has been prepared. According to this project, period of study in first classes will be extended for a year and textbooks will be published in accordance with schoolchildren's age, Hajibabaie said during his speech in a meeting of heads of Iranian provinces, held on Dec.21.
According to Hajibabaie, when schoolchildren reach 9 years, girls and boys will study different textbooks. Textbooks will be specialized at the end of the initial period of training.
