Iran plans to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza via Persian Gulf

During the meeting with Oman's Parliament Speaker Ali Al-Isai, Secretary-General of the Iranian Supreme Security Council Saeed Jalili, proposed Gulf countries to unite and send humanitarian aid to Gaza through the Gulf, Fars news agency reported.

During the meeting with Oman's Parliament Speaker Ali Al-Isai, Secretary-General of the Iranian Supreme Security Council Saeed Jalili, proposed Gulf countries to unite and send humanitarian aid to Gaza through the Gulf, Fars news agency reported.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society will send two ships with humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip in the end of the week, Agence France Presse reported referring to representative of the organization Abdolrauf Adibzadeh.

The Israeli Navy's attacked on the "Flotilla of Freedom" carrying the humanitarian aid to Gaza May 31. The "Flotilla of Freedom" consisted of six vessels carrying about 600 human rights activists from European and Arab countries. They intended to bring 10,000 tons of humanitarian supplies, including medicines and construction materials, to the Gaza Strip. According to media, about 19 people died during an Israeli special operation. Israel confirmed that 10 people died.
