Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will pay a visit to Pakistan in the near future to participate in the trilateral summit of Iranian, Afghan and Pakistani Presidents, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi told journalists during his visit to Hamadan province, IRNA reported.
Salehi noted that talks are underway to determine the date and program of the president's visit.
The last meeting among the leaders of three countries was held in Tehran, in June, 2011.
Presidents Asif Ali Zardari, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hamid Karzai agreed then to expand and strengthen trilateral cooperation for peace, stability and development in the region.
