(Zaman) - The Scandinavian telecom company TeliaSonera, one of the partners of Turkcell, announced it may buy the Turkish operator Turkcell and the Russian company MefaFon.
Anders Igel, Chief Executive of Finnish-Swedish telecommunication group TelliaSonera, said they will try to buy 100 percent of Megafon and Turkcells shares when the opportunity arises, reports Trend.
They may also increase the dividends that they have distributed, Igel added.
