(IRNA) - Iranian Ambassador to Romania Ali Akbar Farazi and Romanian Minister of Communication and Information Technology Zsolt Nagy in a meeting on Thursday discussed bilateral cooperation in the domain of CIT.
At the meeting, the Iranian diplomat briefed Nagy on the favorable level of bilateral ties, particularly in economic sector and urged the need to expand such cooperation, reports Trend.
For his part the Romanian minister referred to the satisfactory Iran-Romania relations and underlined the will of his government to strengthen such ties.
Cooperation between the two countries at international telecommunication meetings, including the upcoming International Long Distance Communication Union meet were on the agenda of the talks.
Meanwhile, issuing joint stamps, supporting each other's candidates at international post and communication assemblies as well as holding joint economic commission meetings were among the issues on which Farazi and Nagy exchanged views.
