An Iranian civil servant has been jailed for $230,000 embezzlement.
He was working as an accountant in one of the state-run organizations in the western city of Sanandaj, Iran's IRNA news agency reported on October 11.
He was indicted of forging signatures and drawing up 7.5 billion rials (about $230,000) from the organization's retirement fund.
