The Maersk Group, an integrated transport and logistics company with multiple brands and a global leader in container shipping and ports, is preparing to resume Iranian cargo transit, IRNA reported Oct.20.
Maersk stopped cooperation with Iran in 2012 due to tightening of western sanctions to curb the country’s nuclear program. The sanctions were eliminated in mid-January 2016 after implementation of nuclear agreement between Iran and the world powers.
