Following a couple of flat trade days at Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), its main index on Tuesday indicated a strong performance surging by 749.3 points or 0.94 percent.
According to the TSE official website, the TSE main index reached 80830.5 points as over 1.2 billion shares valued at $105.9 million (3.40 trillion rials according to official rate on Dec. 6) were traded for the day.
The Price Index gained 262.1 points or 0.93 percent to end at 28497.6.
The First Market hiked 698 points or 1.23 percent to post 57523.2.
The Second Market Index added 647.6 points or 0.38 percent to reach 171193.6.
The Industry Index surged 733.9 points or 1.09 percent to post 68148.8.
The TSE30 Index was up by 41.5 points or 1.27 percent to hit 3314.1.
The TSE50 Index added 33.2 points or 1.06 percent to reach 3179.1.
