Gold coin was traded in Iran at 15,050,000 rials (about $343 according to the currency rate in Iran's free market) on Wednesday.
According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,409,890 rials (about $32.1), indicating a 0.56 percent increase compared to the preceding day.
According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro valued 53,795 rials in the free market, dropping 0.58 percent. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of euro at 44,845 rials.
The US dollar was quoted at 43,870 rials in the free market losing 0.05 percent compared to the preceding day. The CBI put the official rate for the greenback at 36,554 rials.
