Management and Planning Organization of Iran through its latest report has forecasted that the rate of unemployment in the country would reach 12.1 percent with an economic growth of five percent.
The report suggests that the government’s general income over the first 10 months of the current fiscal year (starting March 20) was about 222 trillion tomans (about $67.2 billion according to the currency rates envisaged in the budget bill).
The report has also forecasted that the government would make about 87.4 trillion tomans (about $26.4) over the two ending months of the year.
The organization has suggested that the government would materialize a total of 309.9 trillion tomans in income over the current year.
In case the government manages to make 309.9 trillion tomans over the current year, it would mean that the administration has managed to realize about 89 percent of the total planned income in the budget bill.
The report suggested that the government’s spending in the 10-month period reached 239 trillion tomans ($72.4 billion), forecasting that the total figure would reach 309.7 trillion toman ($93.8 billion) by the year end.
The report has also touched upon the country’s economic growth in the current year and the coming year, saying the figure would stand at five percent over the fiscal 2017/18 and reach 5.8 percent in 2018\19.
According to the report, the economic growth excluding oil sector would reach six percent in the coming year from the 5.4 percent in the coming year.
