A Mineral raw material stood at the top of Iran’s non-oil export list to China, according to the data released by the Asian country’s customs administration.
The Islamic Republic exported $1,373.2 million worth of iron ore to China in 2017.
Iran’s iron ore exports to China registered a huge rise by 68.3 percent, year-on-year. Iran was China’s fifth iron ore supplier after Australia, Brazil, South Africa and India.
The country’s overall iron ore imports accounted to $75,959.9 million in January-December 2017, 34 percent more compared to the 12-month period of 2016.
Iran’s iron ore exports also registered the highest growth among the mineral’s top five suppliers to China.

Trade turnover between Iran and China stood at $37.18 billion in 2017, 19 percent more year-on-year.
China's exports to Iran in the 12-month period amounted to $18.599 billion, 13.3 percent more year-on-year. The country also imported $18.579 billion worth of goods from Iran in the 12-month period, 25.3 percent more compared to 2016.
China mainly imports crude oil from Iran, which has witnessed price rise in recent months.
