The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) lost 171.65 points or 0.18 percent to end the trades at 97182.7 on March 5.
According to the TSE official website, about 1.1 billion shares, valued at $ 50.7 million (2.2 trillion rials converted to US dollar according to free market rates) were traded for the day.
The Price Index dropped 56.63 points or 0.18 percent, to post 30975.
The First Market gave up 155.81 points or 0.23 percent, to post 68861.4.
The Second Market lost 187.2 points or 0.09 percent, to post 207845.8.
The Industry Index declined 155.36 points, to post 86317.6.
TSE 30 Index was down 16.31 points or 0.38 percent, to close at 4297.6.
TSE 50 Index edged down 6.29 points or 0.16 percent, to end at 4037.9.
