The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for March 12:
Export floor: Offers 47,000 tons of bitumen, sulphur, lube cut oil and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 162,870 tons of bitumen, polymers, sulphur, vacuum bottom feed stock, benzene and sodium hydroxide.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 5,000 tons of rebar basket.
Agriculture floor: Offers 376,000 day-old chicks, 8,000 tons of wheat, 5,550 tons of sugar, 400 tons of crude vegetable oil and 500 kilograms of saffron.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 332 chemical waste, 276 tons of metal scrap, 200 tons of steel scrap, 25 tons of used locomotive engine oil and 2,000 tons of palm olein oil.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
