Tehran Stock Exchange performance on Sept. 2

The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) decreased by 2433.57 points ‎(-1.79 ‎‎‎percent) to end the trades at 133,676.1 on Sept. 2.

According to the TSE official website, about 2,473 million shares valued at $183 million were traded for the day.

The Price Index (TEPIX) decreased by 711.82 points (-1.79 ‎‎‎percent) to post 39,100.5.

The First Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (FM) decreased by 2126.26 points (-2.13 ‎‎‎‎‎percent) to 97,906.7.

The Second Market Price and Dividend Index TEDPIX (SM) decreased by 3244.56 points‎ (-1.19 ‎‎‎percent) to post 268,990.4.

The Industry Index decreased by 2478.42 points ‎(-1.99‎‎percent) to post 121,755.6.

TSE 30 Index lost 158.74 points (-2.40 ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎percent) to close at 6,453.5.

TSE 50 Index lost 121.65 points (-2.07 ‎‎‎‎‎percent) to end at 5,761.3.

Mobarakeh Steel Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Golgohar Mining & Industrial Company, Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company had the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.

Meanwhile, Bank Mellat, Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL Group), Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran, Kerman Cement Company and National Investment Company of Iran were among those that had the highest positive effect on the TSE index.
