Iran should increase the number of its trade attaches to 50 in the coming years, Mohammad Reza Modudi, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, and the head of the Trade Promotion Organization, told the Young Journalists Club (YJC), Trend reports.
According to Modudi, this issue needs financial support and should be worked on by Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO).
"The absence of Iranian trade attaches in many countries delivers an irreversible blow to Iran's trade and exports," he said.
Modudi said if the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, as a representative of the private sector in the field of exports, allocates some of its resources for increasing the number of trade attaches, positive changes can be eventually witnessed in this area.
