The loans worth more than 590 billion rials (over $14 million) have been issued to the manufacturing and industrial enterprises in Babol county of Iran’s northern Mazandaran province last Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018), Governor of Babol county of Mazandaran province Gurbanali Valizadeh said.
The loans were issued to 40 enterprises and 442 people were employed, Valizadeh added, Trend reports referring to IRNA News Agency.
He added that the loans worth over 380 billion rials (about $9 million) were issued at six percent interest rate in rural areas last Iranian year.
The loans with the low interest rate were issued for 184 rural employment projects. As a result, 482 people were employed, Valizadeh added.
About 536,000 people live in Babol county. There are about 280 manufacturing and industrial enterprises in that county.
