A bentonite production facility of the Sangan Steel Mining Company has been commissioned in Iran’s north-eastern Razavi Khorasan province, Executive Director of the Iranian Steel Mining Company Ali Amrayi said.
Some 140 billion rials ($3.33 million) have been invested in the bentonite production facility, Amrayi added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
He said that presently, the facility can produce 100,000 tons of bentonite a year. The production can be brought up to 200,000 tons per year.
Amrayi noted that 120 people have been employed at the facility.
