Iran's exports via Arvand Free Zone exceed $600M in 6 months

In the first six months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 to Sept. 22, 2019), Iran's exports via Arvand Free Zone located in Khuzestan province in the southwestern part of Iran, reached $640 million, Deputy Director of Business Development and Investment of Arvand Free Zone Organization Ali Mousavi said, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to Mousavi, this figure increased by 50 percent compared to the same period of the last year.

Mousavi noted that the bulk of exported products included industrial oils, metal products, dates and petrochemicals.

These products were mainly exported to Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, China, Australia and New Zealand, the deputy director said.

The Arvand Free Zone covering an area of 37,400 hectares, is located in the northwest of the Persian Gulf.
