TEHRAN, Iran, April 26. Iran's private sector is ready to supply electricity to Lebanon, said the Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"Iran's suggestion of building a power plant in Lebanon is still on the table but so far no response has been received from Lebanon," he said.
He pointed out that Iran's public sector is prepared to act and solve the power shortage problem in Lebanon.
The official has stressed that Iran does not intervene in Lebanon's domestic problems and that Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has reiterated the suggestion of building a power plant to the Lebanese side.
